Dear Homeowner:
What a burst of summer we had on Saturday, April 28. Yes, people were even swimming in the Bay and on my patio at noon the thermometer read 100 degrees. The next day brought New England Spring reality with drizzle and fog and the forties!
The FMB Meeting brought out the need for several reminders for Homeowners. I will list them for your clarity. Your cooperation as always is appreciated.
- Please be sure renters have a copy of the Sea Pines Rules and Regulations.
- Patio fences covered with vines will not be painted. Homeowners must remove or take down the vines.
- Parking continues to be a problem. Please, if you have extra cars or guests use the large Clubhouse parking lot. There is no parking or driving on common ground.
- Some garage doors are in need of repair. One panel costs $150, the full door $350. See Grounds Committee for costs.
- Please, all homeowners get a Sea Pines sticker for your car(s) from Vera Fields. She will have them at the Clubhouse after the Annual Meeting.
- Mike is now covered for liability insurance. Do continue to see him after hours for your personal work.
- Evelyn Donnelly of the G&M Committee is looking into how we can do more careful recycling of trash.
- The Committee on new playground equipment is at work exploring equipment and bids.
- Sea Pines continues to be in stable financial condition.
- The landscapers have been hard at work under the careful supervision of Mercantile Property Management.
I wish to thank Judy Bernhardt for her willingness to take over the flower plantings at Sea Pines in Eileen Hooper's absence.
You will be receiving a packet of material for the Meeting in lieu of the Annual Meeting immediately. If you cannot attend send in your proxy to your phase president c/o Mercantile Property Management. Remember we need a quorum in each phase to vote.
- Phase I - Elizabeth Ann Liddle
- Phase II - Frances Malone
- Phase III - Bernard Phaneuf
- Phase IV - James Fowler
I look forward to seeing many of you at the Brewster Elementary School at 9am on Sunday, May 27, 1990.
Regards to all,
Elizabeth Ann Liddle
