Dear Neighbors:

January and December have brought cold and blustery weather to Sea Pines. The December 12 storm swept across the Cape and brought rain and high winds to Sea Pines and dropped 36 inches of snow on Western Massachusetts. I envy all of you in sunnier climates.

The damage at Sea Pines was minimal. Some fences and shingles needed repair. One of the benefits of having skilled maintenance personnel was that most repair work was accomplished in three days while the rest of the Cape jockeyed for services.

Much of the underground piping for watering from the wells is in place. The tennis courts have had preliminary work done to them. The balance will be done in the spring.

I think all of Sea Pines is waiting for spring. We'll hold a FMB meeting on January 23 then decide, if all is quiet, to forego the February meeting and meet on March 27.

By then, March may come in like a lion and hopefully will be lamb like for our March meeting. If you can attend, please join us.

Happy New Year to all!

Regards,

Jim Fowler, Chairman FMB
