March 19, 1993

Dear Neighbors:

January and February were quiet months at Sea Pines. Maintenance tasks continued during the good weather. March was a different month - the Blizzard of 1993 was the bookend storm to the one on December 15. Those of you away in sunnier climes, like Florida, were given a taste of traditional Sea Pines winter weather. I hope all of you weathered the storm well.

Sea Pines is in the crook of the bay and received a few inches of snow during the blizzard, followed by heavy rain and high winds. Other than an occasional leaning of a fence and a shingle or two, Sea Pines fared well. Spring will come none to soon for most of us. As I write this another storm is due on the 20th - the first day of Spring.

One week later, on the 27th, the FMB will meet. We will go over two months of work, review the new owner directory and start the processes that culminate in the Annual Meeting in May.

We didn't have a February meeting, so we're a little late in sending you phase nomination and committee selection papers. You will receive these and a new owners' directory sometime in March.

Our next meeting is on March 27 at 8:30am in the clubhouse. Hope to see you then.

Regards,

Jim Fowler, Chairman FMB
