Sea Pines Homeowners Association Newsletter

August 8, 2016

Dear Neighbors,

Oh my, but it's been nice weather so far this summer on the Cape, if you are a vacationer that is. It's been rather dry if you're a gardener. We really need rain. And where are the foxes???? We have rabbits running around all over the place, eatin' our gardens and flowers. You'd think the foxes would take notice and trim the population...

Here's the chance I know you've all been just salivating for! Sea Pines needs a new web site manager, newsletter author and FMB clerk. Well, not immediately, but it seems likely that my wife and I will be moving to Maryland just about a year from now so these roles I currently do will need to be filled. Sure would be good to have folks to work with during the next 12 months to ensure a reasonable transition. Contact me if you are interested or have questions.

My goodness, Sea Pines has gotten a facelift over the past couple of years. All new siding, new street lights, updated clubhouse, new exercise room, etc. Fingers crossed - we are well planned, reasonably managed, focused on the future without compromising present needs and blessed with a congenial and pretty effective set of people on the FMB. It's all good. The big planned expenses over the next 10 years will be the tennis courts, roofs, street paving, septic tank replacement and the resumption of the paint cycle.

The next FMB is scheduled for Saturday September 24 at 8:30am. (The August FMB was cancelled for lack of business.)

Sincerely,

Christopher Wroten
