SEA PINES HOMEOWNERS' ASSOCIATION

May 3, 1988

Dear Neighbor:

The pool has been filled and approvals are being obtained from the County Health Dept. Landscaping has been done with the sand scheduled to be removed from the streets this week. Wooded areas have been cleared, needed fertilizers applied. The scheduled tennis court repairs will get under way this week if the weather permits.

Home owners are requested to conserve water, not only because Sea Pines' water bills are excessive at this time but water is one of our vital resources that should be conserved. There is a severe water loss in the Hollow area still under investigation.

Herb Lipson did an excellent study on our beach cleaning problem. He and Frank Pease will attend a meeting Tuesday, May 3rd to get further information from the Brewster Conservation Board on their suggestions how to dispose of the removed sea weed.

We all owe John Lobingier a note of thanks for a tremendous job of reorganizing and typing up the job specifications that I assembled from committees. We now have job specifications approved by the board.

The end of another Sea Pines year is coming on us quickly with our annual meeting scheduled for Sunday , May 29 at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall on Freeman Way. The town hall building was not available to us this year.

In an emergency, you can now dial "0" on the club house pay phone without depositing any coins and ask the operator to get 911 for you.

Sincerely,

Bernie Phaneuf
