SEA PINES HOMEOWNERS' ASSOCIATION

JULY 14, 1988

Dear Sea Pines Neighbor:

This is a brief summary of the July 2, 1988 meeting of the FMB and a few other comments.

Bob Shiels reported a vehicle knocked down a section of fence and a few plants were uprooted.

Chip Clark, working with Scott Jordan, is doing an excellent job. He works extensively with the grounds committee and our maintenance team.

Our Front Entrance Committee, chaired by Eileen Hooper, has done an excellent piece of work on the entrance and pool areas, thanks to all.

The Beach Committee, chaired by Herb Lipson, has received official permission to clean 150 feet of beach from Brewster Conservation Committee. There are 28 conditions to be met for each cleaning, nothing simple.

It is with sorrow we note the passing of Beverly Smith's mother and Mike Lubash's father this week.

We will miss Alice and Skeets Halamay, who have sold their unit 9B and will be leaving July 15. Both have contributed unselfishly to the improvement of Sea Pines.

Fertilization is completed as is insect treatment. This week's agenda calls for pruning.

The chairperson of each committee is requested to mail to Bernie Phaneuf the list of their committee people by July 27.

Parking rules are not being followed - please park only in designated areas.

Sincerely,

Bernie Phaneuf
