NEWS FROM SEA PINES

Dear Neighbors,

Can anyone ever remember better weather than we have had in July? Virtually every weekend has been perfect. It appears that these conditions are continuing into August.

Occasionally vandalism rears its ugly head in Sea Pines. This time our tennis courts have been attacked. All tennis players can help to eliminate this problem by locking the gates at the conclusion of play. The tennis committee also feels that we should change the combination of these locks so effective September 1, 1993 the new combination will be 7327 (SEAP).

Colonial gas will be willing to come in to Sea Pines with a minimum of thirty unit owners signing up. We will have more information regarding pricing, installation, etc. next month.

Please remember that all calls for common area maintenance should be made directly to Mercantile at (508)888-1885, not to grounds and maintenance committee or to our maintenance men.

It's great to see everyone taking an interest in our limited recycling program (glass barrels in trash sheds). However all metal bands must be removed from jars and boftles or they will be rejected.

On Saturday August 21, 1993 a group of tennis players has organized the first Sea Pines Clam Bake. If we have a large enough turnout, this could turn into an annual event.

Our next board meeting will be on Saturday August 28, 1993 at 8:30am in the club house. I hope to see you there.

Regards,

Richard Rose - Chairman FMB
