SEA PINES NEWS

November 8, 1994

Anyone spending any time this fall at Sea Pines must have been thrilled with the incredible weather, If it continues into the winter not only will it bring enjoyment to all homeowners, but it will bring relief to our strained snow removal budget.

The work at 18 Friendship has now been completed and fortunately it has come in under our projected budget. This has allowed us to lower the amount of the special assessment. We homeowners will now owe two payments; the first ($75) due November 30, 1994. The second (a bill will follow) will be due March 1, 1995.

Our trash contractor has recommended that we replace the barrels we now use with 96 gallon blue cans. Owners will be required to dispose of their trash in plastic bags. This will save all of us a great deal of money.

The security committee has installed locks on all windows in the clubhouse and put a timer on the lights to discourage unauthorized entry.

Shirley Marden of the Clubhouse committee asked me to include the following in the monthly newsletter:

The foyer of the clubhouse is now completed with the exception of the tile floor, which will be done sometime during the winter when the clubhouse can be closed for a day or two. The committee wishes to thank those residents who so kindly gave money to refurbish the foyer. We hope you all are enjoying it. Many thanks again.

Shirley M. Marden for the committee,

No news from the gas company however Mercantile will ask for a progress report prior to our next meeting.

The next FMB meeting will be on Saturday December 3, 1994 at 8:30am in the clubhouse. The 1995 budget will be finalized at that time. I hope to see you there.

Regards,

Richard N. Rose, Chairman FMB
