February, 1996

Hi Neighbor:

The "Blizzard of '96" took a toll on Cape Cod, however, Sea Pines fared well except for a lot of snow that had to be removed. Ellis' Landing suffered significant erosion.

Over budget, snow removal and required septic tank repair may erode our planned maintenance fee refund. We're still working on it.

We have a problem with unauthorized shrub trimming on the Bluff. The Brewster Conservation Commission has threatened the use of fines. If those shrubs die, our Bluff is in danger of suffering irreplaceable erosion. Our landscape contractor is the only authorized shrub trimmer!

Mercantile Property Management has appointed Dan Schrader to handle day-to day operations at Sea Pines. Let's help him do a good job for us.

If you lease your unit, Mercantile and the FMB must formally approve this action before your tenant moves in, otherwise an embarrassing situation could develop for you and your tenant.

The next Facilities Management Board meeting will be held on Saturday, February 24, 1996 at 8:30am in the clubhouse. ATTEND IF YOU CAN.
