Sea Pines Homeowners Association Monthly News

July 13, 2004

Dear Neighbor,

I'm Back.

The monthly FMB meeting was held Saturday June 26, 2004.

Landscaping is under way and almost complete. The 5-year planting plan has begun. Many plants were killed due to winter's cold weather.

Management reported one sale

Nothing new to report on the settlement with the abutters. We have signed all documents however the abutters are yet to execute them.

A sub-committee has been formed to look into improving the pruning of the bluff. They will contact the town to discuss the feasibility of an amended order of conditions.

Reminders:

  1. Anyone placing a mooring or storing a boat on the beach must contact our Beach and Boating Chairman, Commodore Deane Keuch for approval. This is for your protection in the event something happens to a boat due to vandalism or storm.

  2. The clubhouse is available for unit owner's private functions but it must be reserved by calling Vera Fields. 508-896-7643.

There is a sub-committee being formed to review by-laws and make suggestions for changes. More on this next month.

I will be suggesting to the board that in the future this newsletter be posted on the Sea Pines web site only and no longer be mailed out. The savings in postage and copying costs will be significant.

The next meeting of the FMB will be Saturday July 31, 2004 at 8:30am in the clubhouse. It's unbelievable how fast this summer is going.

Sincerely,

Richard Rose, For the FMB
