Dear Neighbor,

The FMB meeting was held on March 25, 2006.

The treasurer reported that due to the lighter than normal snow fall this winter, we are balancing out the budget year to date.

The Grounds and Maintenance Committee reported that Jeff and Ken are busy preparing Phase 2 for painting as well as clearing damage from the winter storms.

Management reported that Sav-A-Tree has begun the pruning of the bluff. Much of the invasive species have been removed and we have received cooperation and encouragement from the Brewster Conservation Commission.

There was discussion regarding security at the beach and of the possibility of posting someone at the Rte 6A entrance and/or the beach path. We will be checking on the cost of hiring a security company and will discuss at next meeting.

There was one sale: 19 Landing Lane owned by Irma Felgate to Christopher Wroten of Medway for $437,500 closing April 17. There is a rumor that Christopher is a close relation of our Webmaster!

Legal Corner: We will be asking the court for a trial date in the beach rights case. We have received motion for summary judgment on the part of the defendant in the garage matter.

Carbon Monoxide detector law became effective March 31, 2006 notice will be sent to all homeowners.

The investment policy's of Sea Pines was discussed and a proposal was adopted at the meeting.

This year there will be 3 new members elected to each phase board. (a 1, 2, and 3 year term). In ensuing years only 1 member will be elected from each phase.

The next FMB meeting will be Saturday April 29 at 8:30am in the clubhouse. A perfect time to return to Sea Pines and take in a meeting.
